Meet The Team
Curt is a co-founder and the Managing Principal of Pursuit Development. In his role as Managing Principal, Curt is responsible for Pursuit’s investment strategy, execution, and capitalization for Pursuit’s development & partnership activities.
Curt’s passion for real estate development began in 2002 when he completed his first build to suit. Since then he has been involved with ground up development, value-add redevelopment, lease negotiation, permitting, rezoning, wetland mitigation, budget & financial analysis, market entry assistance and disposition of completed projects.
Prior to co-founding Pursuit Development, Curt served as Executive Vice President of Development and Leasing for Stafford Properties. Curt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. Curt lives in Albany, GA with his wife Shanna and their four children: Annabelle, Luke, Susan, and Clara.

After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance in 2015, Buckley immediately began his real estate development career working with a team that produced approximately fifty locations annually as a preferred developer for a national retailer.
Buckley is passionate about delivering results, serving others, and developing quality relationships through his work. His purpose in life is driven by God, his wife Lily, daughters Lucy and Clara, and their two English cockers. Buckley and his family live in Thomasville, GA. He enjoys spending time outdoors and golfing in his free time

During his five-year tenure at Circle K, Matt advanced from analyst to development manager, where he led new store development initiatives across the Southwest Florida and Northern Alabama markets. He played a key role in the successful delivery of 23 new store openings and helped launch Circle K’s new car wash expansion program in Florida.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys playing golf and is a dedicated fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Auburn Tigers.
